چکیده
Abstract Aim With the emergence of new laparoscopic techniques, Intra-Peritoneal-Onlay-Mesh (IPOM) has fallen out favor for repairing abdominal wall hernias due to reported complications, including adhesions and bowel injury, our aim is compare complication rates in center between intra- extraperitoneal techniques. Material & Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on data from certified hernia 2018 2021. All patients who underwent an umbilical, epigastric or incisional hernia-repair were included. The primary outcome measures injury adhesions. Results total 188 a repair. 74 (39%) hat umbilical hernia, 22 (12%) 92 (49%) had hernia. Most (110–58%) treated with IPOM, 14 (7,4%) them open IPOM. 46 (25%) repaired direct suture remaining other sublay mini less (MILOS). After average follow-up 36months, only two (1%) developed mechanical ileus, one after IPOM surgery. Bowel lesions occurred repairs. There no difference complications different surgical Conclusion Our study suggests that techniques repair have similar complications. Further research needed determine most effective safe approach

Pneumomediastinum as a Complication of Extraperitoneal Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair
A 52-year-old man with left indirect groin hernia was admitted for elective inguinal repair using the totally extraperitoneal (TEP) approach. After an uneventful intubation, TEP repair of the hernia was performed with three midline trocars. Immediately after extubation, the patient noted severe chest pain. There was a decrease in PaO2 saturation, and neck subcutaneous emphysema was detected. Th...

Amyand's hernia (appendix in the sac of an inguinal hernia) although rare is a fairly well-recognized clinical entity. It is associated with an increased risk of developing appendicitis. Amyand's hernia can be repaired by open or laparoscopic methods. We present the case of a laparoscopic extraperitoneal repair with a potential hazard when repairing this type of hernia in this manner, and we re...
متن کاملLaparoscopic transabdominal extraperitoneal repair of lumbar hernia
Lumbar hernias need to be repaired due to the risk of incarceration and strangulation. A laparoscopic intraperitoneal approach in the modified flank position causes the intraperitoneal viscera to be displaced medially away from the hernia. The creation of a wide peritoneal flap around the hernial defect helps in mobilization of the colon, increased length of margin is available for coverage of ...
متن کاملLaparoscopic total extraperitoneal repair of lumbar hernia
Lumbar hernia is a rare surgical entity without a standard method of repair. With advancements in laparoscopic techniques, successful lumbar herniorrhaphy can be achieved by the creation of a completely extraperitoneal working space and secure fixation of a wide posterior mesh. We present a total extraperitoneal laparoendoscopic repair of lumbar hernia, which allowed for minimal invasiveness wh...
